Concerning Course Work All examination courses are warranted for eighteen months; so that in the event of failure in the examination the Member’s tuition may be continued without extra course work charges* for 18 months, until he or she is successful in the examination for which he or she has enrolled; provided: (1) The whole course is completed before the candidate presents himself or herself for examination. *A minimal charge of 10% of the current course fee is at the time is required on application for each year of continuation under the warranty scheme to offset the cost of administration. Concerning your satisfaction with us: If you have received a poor text copy for whatever reason, we will replace it without question. Should you feel disappointment in our initial services to you – or your circumstances change and you feel you must withdraw form studies, then if you notify us of this in writing within fourteen days of our having posted to you the enrolment pack, and provided you at the same time return it to us in good and reusable condition – we will refund 100% of the course fees. A very few individuals enrol as fully paid up members and receive their enrolment package and yet make no further communication. These College members will receive their full course lesson texts after six months. Full tutorial care will be available for up to 18 months from the date of enrolment but if the standard course fees have risen in the meantime, the balance of increased fees must be paid if the tutorial care is to resume. Between 14 days from posting aforesaid and up to 2 months therefrom, and before the receipt of the first script (and subject to return of the materials supplied in good and reusable condition) – the College will make a full refund of fees with the exception of an amount equal to the initial payment on enrolment for that particular course. Some few individuals enrol fully paid up and make no communication for two months or more until they may suddenly request a refund, ignoring the fact that a tutor will have been waiting prepared and ready to receive their scripts throughout their membership period. For a period of up to three months from the date aforesaid these College members will be entitled to the remaining lesson texts due and a refund of 50% less the enrolment fee element. After 3 months refunds are not paid. After 6 months all the lessons due will be offered to members who have paid fees in full. Specimen answers are supplied only on receipt of actual scripts submitted. Once the College has retained an enrolment fee we will reply to reasonable correspondence about further study for up to eighteen months from initial enrolment even if you have withdrawn from the course. Also we will hold in credit for the sums paid and retained for a period of eighteen months should you decide to recommence with us at a later date. This sum would be deductible from the then current fee rates. In the event of a dispute with a College member the maximum liability of the HCC with any party shall be the return of all fees paid. |
