I joined the Mothers Union as a diocesan member of this Christian organisation - it is rare for a male to join but I have been hugely impressed by the work they initiate, support and both locally and world wide they really are good news for many people who need help. I took this photo at Bristol Cathedral. Rosemary Thomas the president of the Bristol MU Diocese is speaking, with Bishop Mike to her right and Bishop Michael on her left. (Mary my wife is the local Lacock MU Branch Leader.)
Our Water Feature here in the garden at Notton. This is slowly coming together - indeed it maybe complete very shortly. We are to receive a couple of tonnes of Pebbles from CED - who supply lots of natural stone from "spaghetti rock to pink granite". They are large scale but were very helpful on the phone. I first saw their products at the Glasgow Garden Festival a good few years back. www.ced.l&d.uk for their head office. G H Martin are to do the haulage very helpfully - a local firm to us |
