The amateur gardener is in the unique position of being able to control (with some notable exceptions) what is applied to the soil and plants and therefore what goes into the food which he grows. In collating material for this course the aim has been to bring together aspects of current gardening which mesh with the philosophy of gardening in an organic way in an attempt to make it as feasible an option as possible.
