It may of interest for you to know that I treated the course as a revision exercise for past gained knowledge. On opening each lesson I dealt with the questions. When these were finished I read the text. I must say, the course was very well written; one of, if not, the best I have seen. I fail to see how any student with less experience than myself, diligently working the course, could not gain from it not only in technical know-how, but pleasure. (Ronald C Malone)

I really enjoyed the course which I found challenging and it has prompted me to try out a number of new gardening techniques…. I think the course material will provide a good reference for the future… Thank you for all your encouragement throughout the course and again for the prize. I must say I was surprised to receive it and I hoped that I would manage to get through the exams to justify receiving the award…. I passed both Hort 1 and Hort 2 with a commendation, so that was very pleasing.
