Garden Landscape Construction
Make easy work of hard landscaping
Complementing our other garden design courses, this course focuses on groundworks and hard landscaping – used early in the design process to give a space its desired shape and permanent structures before creating the softscape with live horticultural elements like flowers and trees. It is ideal for gardeners and garden designers wanting to develop their knowledge of landscape construction or to anyone pursuing a career in this field. Topics covered include approaches to landscape construction, site assessments, schedules of work, the correct tools and managing projects. You will also learn practical construction techniques for hardscape elements such as walls, paths and drives, steps, timber builds like fences and pergolas, and features like rock gardens and pools.

- Flexible home-study learning so you can fit your learning around your work and life
- Quality course material and excellent tutor support – to help you achieve your goals
- On successful completion you will receive an HCC Certificate
- Suitable for both amateur and professional gardeners
- No previous experience needed
