Examinations
Your course materials and the valuable tutor feedback you will receive during your studies will help to prepare you for the Royal Horticultural Society qualifications.
We offer advice and assistance for booking examinations when you are ready and you can sit the examinations either online from home or at our centre in Devon. Please see below for RHS and assessment centre requirements and fees.
RHS fees are correct at time of print yet may change. Invigilation fees are a guide and may vary for external centres.
Please note: In accordance with RHS Qualification Fees notice(s), the learner registration fee is a one-off fee covering RHS administration of the learner’s details on each qualification. The learner assessment and certification fee include the ‘standard’ assessment of each learner and subsequent provision of certification. NB: additional fees will be incurred where a learner has to re-sit any element of the qualification assessment. ‘Standard assessment’ is an online exam for theory units only. Additional fees may apply for late entries, re-sit(s), re-marking etc. A small additional administration fee may also apply in some instances.
Examinations are to be held Online from home, if you require a traditional paper-based examination to be arranged 'In-Person at the Centre in Devon' please contact us to discuss. Please note that we require a minimum notice of 8 weeks before an exam session in order to make the necessary arrangements, additional invigilation and arrangement fees will apply. Examination papers are provided as printed papers, and the examination will need to be completed under centre-invigilated examination conditions.
